The History of Our Club. The Oaklane Quarter Midget Racing club is located on Tollgate Road in Trumbauersville PA, just 30 minutes North of Philadelphia near Quakertown. It has been home to quarter midget racers since when the track was built. My Racing History I began racing a Quarter Midget when I was seven years old in Hagerstown, Maryland. I raced Quarter Midgets for seven years and was very successful. During those years, I had 39 feature wins. I held the title of Track Champion in several divisions at the Hagerstown Quarter Midget .

"Midget" race cars were first developed in the late s, single-seat open-cockpit open-wheel machines of a size smaller than seen before. In the late s, "midget-midget" cars began to appear, and soon they were dubbed "three-quarter midgets" due to their size.
